We are starting The Great Gatsby today, May 20, and must have it completed within the next two weeks. Modern Tragic Hero definition notes are below. Please make sure that you keep up with your reading. We do not have much time left!
MAy 12 - One month from today you will write your English Exam ! Time will fly by, so please ensure that you come everyday and keep up on your assignments. We read Act 5, Scenes, 1-5. On page 233, students were asked to paraphrase lines 19-30, and comment on Macbeth's state of mind.
May 13 - Finish the play Macbeth . Quotes must be completed. Development, and Resolution of motifs.
Final Novel assignment due.
May 14. I am not here. Mrs. England will begin " The Great Gatsby". Students will go to the library to research the time period.
May 17 - Review for MAcbeth Test tomorrow.
